color me pretty.

this is one colorful house! located in Denmark and featured in marie claire maison, it’s the home of french family, Charlotte Gueniau, her husband philippe and son max. Charlotte is the founder of the brand Rice, decorative furnishings for the home. Charlotte can’t live without color and pattern, so their home is full of light and brightly painted Antique furniture, textiles, rugs and accessories, much like the great gear you find at rice.

Simply stunning. I love color!
DROOL.
These colors immediately make me smile. Oh, that living room! Color me happy indeed.
I’m pretty sure that if I tried to put this much color into a home, it would just end up looking chaotic. This, however, is quite lovely!
such lovely colorful interiors!
Can I move in?? Wonderful use of colour and pattern, I love it all!
Humor in the home is so much fun.
Plain beige can be a horror,
and then I tend to I run.
Cheers!
Awesome! I wish I had that kind of nerve.
This is such a cool and happy space. Your blog this week- Wow! I am so inspired by all the choices you place here. Even though I don’t own my house presently, I do know exactly what I am going to do when the time comes! This space is so simple really. Children are daring and as adults we often forget how to be just that. That is what this room speaks about to me.
I love this house – and it makes sense that it would belong to the founder of Rice – they have such beautiful colorful products!
this sure brightened up my day and brought a smile to my otherwise cheerless day. thanks for all your sunshine and spirit!
For me, there is nothing better in home decor than brave, bright colors! I love this one, especially the hot pink fork and knife draperies!
oh man, there is nothing i love more than white walls with lots of splashes of color. this house rocks. i went onto the rice website and had to get off before i bought everything

That pink rug on the white floor?? The stuff my dreams are made of!
Id never be on a bad mood if i lived in a house like that!
those rooms are awesome looking :D wish i could do something like that in my house.
Lovely to see such strong colours looking so restful against all the whites – beautiful interiors
just awesome!!beautifull!!
SUCH inspiring photography xoxo
Wow…I love the shades of blue/aqua/turquoise. The painting/print of the dark haired girl that you see through the doorway is awesome too.
Does anyone know who makes the fork and knife curtains????
Thanks!
The rocking chair with super vibrant cushion makes me so happy. I always see this style of rocker at vintage stores and with the right fabric hopefully I can make my own version. Thanks for the inspiration. oh and the red runner rug is awesome too. Is that a rooster in the embroidery?
i think those curtains could be custom – but maybe email her shop?
i’m not sure – it could be a rooster! :)
