tuesday’s girl: albert et henriette.

i have no idea how i ended up finding this shop, but it’s just so lovely to look at, and with beautiful handmade shoes to buy. i think it was these black oxfords from albert et henriette that first lured me there, and then i discovered her blog, le dans la, and was equally smitten. albert et henriette is in french, but the blog has english translation. it doesn’t really matter to me, though. it all translates to beautiful. it’s like some sublime french country fantasy, no?

The picture with the paint jars makes my heart flutter. So sparse and romantic.

never in my life have I found a photograph that manages to make worn socks look artistic. love ALL of these photographs.

I love their yellow shoes. Everyone should own a yellow pair of shoes…it would be like walking on sunshine.
so pretty, right? she’s an amazing photographer, as well as shoe designer!
The subtlety of color. Reminds me of remembering a partial bit of a dream. It’s there, but you can’t quite get to it. That’s what these photo’s conjure up with their beauty.
Checked it out and LOVED it! So much soft color. Thanks for sharing!

Victoria, Overstock has chevron rugs and Nate Berkus on HSN has that same settee in a lot of patterns and colors, it’s called the studio sofa.
I love the little white vases that look like stones. Do you know their source?

she has beautiful pottery!
beautiful site! thank you for sharing it with us!
I was able to read the site in English – as I have a Google Chrome extension (Google Translate) that translates sites into any language. It pops up at the top of a page and tells me what language it’s in and do I want it translated into my language? I select yes or let it remain in the original language.
Using http://www.translate.google.com works too. :)
