studio spaces: animal kingdom.

photographer sharon montrose recently shared photos with me of her los angeles-based loft and i was most excited to show you, too. the clean airy workspace is located above sharon’s garage (converted from an ugly old attic space) and is where sharon and her studio manager run The Animal Print Shop. i’ve long been a fan of sharon’s prints, and was even lucky enough to have had her photograph lucy! sharon has a new book coming out soon, too — aptly titled, menagerie. you can check out sharon’s very own menagerie in her animal print shop.

Oohh! I love that giraffe print. I could see someone decorating a baby room with cool prints like this.
they look beautiful in children’s rooms – can see some examples on sharon’s site:

great animal prints.
love the little fawn.
i *love* everything she does! i wish every wall in my house could have her animal prints on them.. but i don’t want to be labeled as the crazy animal lady. not yet, anyways ;-)
Beautiful space! I love how the window opens over her desk. *swoon
Thanks for introducing me to this wonderful photographer.
Love her photographs. The animals melt my heart. What a beautiful
book that will be.
Awe, I love these!
Your site looks great, too! Nicely done! :)
Ooh love it. I love the calm feel of the room! I would love to have such a massive desk under an opening window!
This is so different. I love the menagerie. Can I just tell you that, ever since I discovered your blog, I am so excited to hop online each day to see what you put out there. It’s so refreshing, fun and makes me smile. Thank you.
