lost in translation.

i am lost in translation — i have absolutely no clue what this swedish site has to say, but i do read the universal language of good design, and this home says, “wow’. i love all the rich black and pale pink accents with all that lovely scandinavian white. what say you? pretty in pink, huh?

I am one of your Swedish readers and I was so happy to see this apartment in your blog, because I live just across the street from this beautiful beautiful apartment!

Hi again, you could see my windows from across the street clear on the fourth picture!

The rumor on Swedish design blogs is that its Nina Persson’s (Cardigans, A Camp) Malmö apartment, that is for sale. I wouldn’t be surprised, she has a great sense of style :)

I’m green with envy over the bookshelves, and loving the hallway with all the pictures on the wall and the painted floors–especially the funky-cool paint job in the kitchen!

  16. That bedroom looks so inviting.

  17. I buy many design magazines, in various languages, but I read the “universal language of good design” too. ;) This place is beautiful.

In my book, it doesn’t get any better than this! Stunning… and thank you for all the great ideas/links/humor/creativity that you bring to your blog. I browse often and you’re inspiring! Enjoy the day!

Wow, such a beautiful home. I’m especially taken with the dining room–dark, worn, rustic table and sleek black chairs.

Also, I know the “lost in translation” feeling–recently discovered this beautiful white-washed cottage home on a french site, can’t read the words but the pics are beautiful!

I confirm, this really is The Cardigans-Nina Persson’s apartment. And if you have a really close look one of the last pictures, the one from the hallway, right below to the left of that deer head, you can actually see the portrait drawing my sister-in-law made for the cover of Nathan Larson’s (Nina Persson’s husband) first albums. Yay ;)

  21. great minds! I posted this very same place on my blog today.
    I love it all over!
