WELCOME TO THE WEEKEND.
i did that little reader survey with y’all over the holidays (you can still fill it out if you’re so inclined), and i had to laugh outloud when someone commented that they’d like me to stop posting “oh, and happy, happy friday”. i feel ya. i started that like 6 years ago, so it was getting a little old for me, too. so i’m just gonna say welcome to the weekend. that may get old too. we’ll see. anyhow….moving ahead and more about what y’all had to say in the survey next week. until then, modern love.

i like them victoria either way they both are nice, but i suppose welcome to the weekend makes one think about the weekend verses the happy friday that made me always think of only friday and knowing that this day would be your last posting until monday….so i guess they both give a different perspective…have a happy weekend

I liked “oh and Happy Happy Friday!” And really! someone wanted that to stop?? WHY on earth.. lol.. I always thought it was a good way for us readers to get that you are a “9-5 serious working girl”. It’s cool to say: “Bon Voyage until Monday” any ol’ way you like! I enjoy the way your blog is on schedule so to speak and predictable. That is a goodl thing! Seriously! I think it is why it works so well. ;-) Sorry my survey is now open!
