good reads: uppercase.

the new issue of uppercase magazine is out, and this one is definitely good on paper! this issue (i can hardly believe it’s already issue no. 12!) focuses on the art of paper, and careers in that time old tradition of ink on paper. you remember that, don’t you? i contributed an article about the Danish paper company Rie Elise Larsen, after having had a most inspiring phone conversation with partner Mette Brix-Riisager all the way over in denmark. but check out the entire issue for some truly beautiful photographs and stories.

janine vangool of uppercase also hosted an amazing and fun mini party at alt summit this year, and took some notes on all of the great panel discussions, so if you’d like to check those out, pop over here. thank you janine, for a really wonderful event!

Haven’t gotten my copy yet but my work is featured in issue 12. It looks like their best one yet, but perhaps we’re biased :-)

  6. HI Victoria: so lovely to meet you in person finally at ALT….I have to say Issue 12 of Uppercase is my favorite so far. I read it cover to cover on the airplane and intend on going back again and again…a friend who lives in Canada sent me a text today saying the same thing….it is truly a beautiful piece of art, design and creativity….so glad you turned me on to it.
