inspired by: Olaf Hajek at Home in Berlin.

artist Olaf Hajek seems right at Home in Berlin on the selby this week, but he says he has a love/hate relationship with the city. it doesn’t show. his home is beautiful and bright and cheerful, much like his incredible illustrations. plus, he has the most rad socks ever. go have a look at the full tour on the selby.

I love the chalkboard! I love Berlin too. Great tour.
The wooden vase in the second photo and the white one of the last photo, stole my heart, literally!!
(New blog needing some love and support: http://inwhirlofinspiration.blogspot.com)
Olaf Hajek is one of my favorite illustrators and I am happy to call one of his great artworks my own. It pleases my eye everyday – especially on grey, cold days.
this home is great. so many personal and fabulous details.
i looove the huga blackboard-wall in the kitchen!
I totally understand the love/hate thing…. I feel the same with SF. I know *gasp*
And Olaf and his work is such an inspiration for me.
that’s it. I’m chalkboarding my car.
ooh! would love to see that if you do!!
I want floor to ceiling bookcases so bad!
Thank you for sharing this. I’m a little obsessed with the small statue and white vase collections. His work is just beautiful as well.
Just. Love. It. All.
I have been lusting over the wooden book shelf and prints in the 3rd photo. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
P L E A S E can you tell me the name of that exquisite chair & ottoman? i spotted a pair of them in an antiques shop that i passed up because they needed recovering (there were no labels to be seen on them). i’ve been dreaming of them ever since, & now i’m seeing them here – what’s a girl to do? should i go back & purchase the sets?
totally love the black chalkboard wall!
I want a doodle wall.
