tuesday’s girl: industry of one.

well, this is just one very rad site. bri tweeted about miss moss, who featured amy merrick’s amazing feature on industry of one, and six degrees of separation later i was hooked on this site! i love the internet. and i love industry of one — a fashion documentary of sorts, it’s a periodical on what one wears to work created by Adam Patrick Jones and Rachel Brown. the two explore the style trappings of various industries and professions, documenting the relationship between one’s line of work and walk of life. amazing and inspiring. here’s a peek, but go look at them all.

LOVE this! So interesting–I’m imagining what my week’s worth of daily work outfits would be if I’d been having photos taken of me, and I don’t think I’d be happy with the gallery at the end of it. It’s really amazing how representing (and presenting) yourself through fashion makes such an impact on how you enjoy life and the daily routines you can get into. I feel really inspired to up the ante and see how I can challenge myself to break my habits and be more creative at the start of each new day. Thanks for writing this blog post!
