get kim’s unexpected look.

i love kim’s home, the beautiful place i featured yesterday on unexpected guests, and it kinda makes me want to redesign my place (yet again). while coveting some of her pretty things, i got to thinking it’d be a nice follow up to unexpected guests to post a ‘get the look’. so many of you ask me where you can find the treasures from my guests’ homes, i thought i’d try my hand at sourcing some of them for you. and, while many of kim’s belongings were acquired on her travels, i tried my best to emulate her look for you.
oh, and did i mention her abundant loquat tree? i’d never tried these kind of tart tasting fruits before, and now i’m on the hunt to find them, too!

Just wanted to thank you for having put up the Masculin Feminin german poster. It is one of my favorites. Sadly it is now sold out but I have many others beautiful prints on my site: illustractiongallry.com. Your site is very elegant and feminine (I know that is a pleonasm) :-) Daniel
What a brilliantly researched post!
I love a lot of things in it, especially the slippers!
So perfect! I love that masculin feminin print!
What a great idea! I love that you hunted down all these goodies for us. Thank you.
Well done!! It all looks like it would belong in her lovely home (and needs to belong in my home too!)
Hi Victoria,
I’m wondering about where I might find the banner she had that reads, “Joie de Vivre”?
<3
Courtney
checking into that for you! :)
From Banter Banner: http://www.banterbanner.com/category_s/3.htm
did you save any of the loquat seeds?
they germinate easily.
if you can’t find a tree in your neighborhood,
let me know and i can send you some.
super post, victoria.
thanks!!
i did not, although i was joking that we could string them and make a beaded door curtain. ;)
You can buy that Joie de Vivre banner from Banter Banner (http://www.banterbanner.com/category_s/3.htm). Any chance there is any way to buy that awesome “the list” print? I love it!
thanks dior!
write to the artist nicholas grider – i believe it was an original, but maybe he’d consider prints!

Thanks for including Things to Avoid on your blog! It is an original, but I can remake and make prints from it at various sizes; my website has my email.
Thanks!
Nicholas
awesome, nicholas, thank you!
These screams summer all the way! I really love every combination.
