you don’t have to be rich to have rich.

oh, how i adore the work of artist martha rich. and i quite adore her 100 for $100 project, making 100 pieces of art for $100 because martha thinks art should be accessible, and not just for the rich. i hope that’s not too confusing. martha rich’s work is, in her words: “experimental, random, meaningless, and/or thoughtful. Sometimes it is a study for a larger painting or it is whatever I feel like doing at the moment. It is fluid.” Check out the pieces in her shop and grab ’em while you can. they go fast — but martha just keeps adding more, so check back often. ’cause we all wanna be rich. or have rich, or something like that.

Wow what a great idea! Fantastic art too!
What a cool project! I like the idea of artists who make art accessible! Gonna check out her work now.
gasp! i love martha!!! (but you already know that!). as soon as i’m back from portland i’m picking up one of these bad boys! thanks for the head’s up on the project!

wow, everything about her is awesome.
Love this – the idea behind the art as well as the art itself.
