guest post: Vosgesparis.
Very honored to be here today and meeting the readers of sfgirlbybay. Those who know me from my own blog Vosgesparis, may know I love the use of raw, tough and simple materials in my home. You will find concrete features to my walls, lots of white and grey. And simple decorating with some black touches. At my daily job I work with children and lots of colorful toys, so I think that might be one of the reasons I love an uncluttered home in basic colors for myself. I do like the mix with some soft wooden elements though like the AY Illuminate lamp I recently added to my kitchen and an old wooden ladder from the thrift shop.
Lately I have a soft spot for plywood. It is a simple and relative cheap material to add a soft and Scandinavian feeling to a room. I wouldn’t mind having a barn door like this in my home or a small wall covered in plywood. I can see it being a beautiful background for a mood board with pictures taped to it with some colorful masking tape. Here is some plywood eye candy.
