antwerp atelier.

when i went to antwerp, belgium last year i was only there for about 36 hours, a brief train stop on my way to amsterdam. little did i know when i arrived that most of the shops i hoped to visit were closed on sundays, and some even on mondays. a huge fail on my part! but fortunately for me, one spot at the top of my list, atelier solarshop remained open — a kind of pop-up concept store located in a converted solar panel shop, in the Antwerp 2060 area, where there’s loads of other cool shops.

i saw in a recent post on trendland that the atelier solarshop will now open its doors permanently — a must visit place to put on your go-to list for any vintage home furnishings and especially fashion aficionados, antwerp in general being a fashion mecca for up and coming young designers. here’s a look at atelier solarshop.
