fab friday.

i haven’t done a fab friday round-up in some time, but i guess perusing the internet for new apartment inspiration just put me in the mood for one. i saw Jenn Hannotte’s soothing blue bedroom walls photographed by kristin sjaarda and featured on the marion house book and got extra-inspired to look around for more of these shades. i love these colors — pale yellows, navy and a little bit of coral — blended together they remind me of autumn leaves.

clockwise l to r: eames fiberglass chair via the selby; gorgeous ecliptic mobile from anthropologie; new valley pillow covers from west elm; navy blue langley ottoman from schoolhouse electric; somebody please tell me how to stack my magazines so they spell out something cool like wood & wool stool’s vintage avenue magazines do!; and a pretty pale sky lattice rug from homemint.

I’m in love with that mobile. OK, who am I kidding? I’ll take the whole spread!
thanks brett! i kinda like it, too! ;) it was fun to put together.
That magazine display is really cool. You could do a DIY of magazines as art in your new space! Stack up your mags in the order you’d like them to be in and spray paint the spines with a cool design.
oh, good thinking! :)
I love the wall in that first one. And I think coral is awesome when it’s only used as an accent.
Good choices!
I totally spotted those pillow covers in the new West Elm fall collection and totally plan on getting the mustard/grey. So perfect! Also, been pining for a Eames fiberglass char. Thanks for fueling my obsession.
That Jenn Hannotte. Everything about that room makes me happy…
thanks for being inspired and including my photograph in your round up! thanks, Jenn for the bold blue colour!
thank YOU, kristin – i’v e updated the link to include a credit for you.
