oh, and happy, happy friday.

so, makeshift society made the sunday paper last weekend. specifically, founder rena tom and i made the cover of the style section wearing bunny masks. who knew city newspapers could be so goofy? i can’t explain the bunny masks, they were just something i brought in as a joke (so be careful leaving your masks out where journalists can see them). but it was nice to have the write-up in the san francisco chronicle and they seemed to get what were’ trying to do here — a creative co-working space for those of us feeling a little disconnected working from home. i’m loving coming in and here almost every day. if you’re interested in joining us, you can read more here. have a great weekend, everyone!

congrats on the write up! Those masks are so menacing looking :)
Oh congrats on your write up! :)
I love the concept for the artists.. It is such an important place/need, and I am sure it is a place worth being noted in our S.F. Chronicle! I saw it!
Congrats! It must feel amazing to see an idea turned into reality. It’s an amazing space!
so cool! i’d love to take pictures with masks! and it’s fun being in the paper, hey?

Such a great article! Your new venture sounds like a great idea for relieving the “I’m-working-alone-and-I-want-someone-to-bounce-off-ideas-with” blues! Congratulations for seeing a dream through to reality!
