fab friday.

i like this image from everyday living i found on son & dotter’s tumblr, and it got me thinking about the color combination of pale pinks and gray blues. for some reason it reminds me of the ’80’s. so i went looking for some more this fab friday. i like ’em!

images, clockwise l to r: son & dotter cable knit throws; when worlds collide movie poster print from the geekerie; west elm’s old school onyx ice cube trays; pottery barn’s galvanized metal rolling storage cart; schoolhouse electric’s factory satellite pendant lamp; and MINTSTUDIO POSTER Elements of birds from stilleben shop.

  1. Gray is my favorite color. Throw in pink and you’ve got a deal. Those cable knit throws are the business!

I have been coveting that galvanized rolling cart for about two years. So glad it is still around, and saving my pennies! Necessity is the mother of invention.

I can’t believe I hated those ice-cube trays before the plastic ones came out. How come they look so good! Darn this retro thing. It drives me to drink sometimes! ;-)
