Whether I’ve been whipping up an elaborate dinner, a homey dessert, or busting out a box of Cheez-Its and boxed wine (hey, we’ve all had our low points… don’t judge), inevitably, people leave the dining table or the comfy chairs and prop themselves up on countertops or in kitchen doorways and while away the hours.
From party pre-funking to holiday preparations to long conversations had with a good friend and a great bottle of wine, even solitary moments had at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee, my kitchen never fails to deliver on the promise of there being no place like home.”
