i could live here: bauhaus in kensington.
valentine and regis live in kensington, one of most affluent districts of london. their home, more bauhaus than its 1950s origins, is a modern masterpiece brilliantly remodeled by gumuchdjian architects – and their terrace full of palms and other exotic plants is just divine; you can hardly believe you are in the heart of london. special mention for regis’s paint studio and valentine curved glass study.

Those stairs are INCREDIBLE!!!!! I love how everything feels like it was casually set down, not quite so deliberately placed.

Blonde in this City
Wow – I love all of that glass looking out onto the terrace!
I love all the windows and the office, what a dream!
What an incredible place! Working in that office must be awesome!
The windows… that staircase… oh, I could live there too…
what light this place has…. any other place would feel claustrophobic after being there.
Oh my! Lovely, isn’t.
a riot of colour ! it’s a lovely shell to start with and then some wonderful pieces thrown in; it feels like a real home.
Beautiful – I am curious the row of frames with the smaller pictures over them…what is written on the pages – poems, love letters… please do tell?!
Oh wow – Beautiful living.
The glass terrace is beautiful. I don’t know if it would work for me, but it definitely works well for them.
