rough cuts.

south african designer heather moore of skinny laminx fame has a new fabric collection coming out this week and it’s simply stunning. called Rough Cuts, it’s “A collection inspired by Scandinavian style, but perfectly at home in Africa”. heather’s collection includes five very simple geometric designs in three colourways each — and although the designs are inspired by her ongoing love of all things simply Scandi, she finds that they work incredibly well with African basketry, revealing the unexpected rootedness to Africa of heather’s designs. You can also see more images in heather’s fabrics catalogue here on Issuu, and shop for her products in her skinny laminx esty shop.

What a great launch and so thrilled to have my beautiful baskets associated with Heathers designs. There is such great synergy between my baskets and rough cuts.
