spring, brought to you by tulipina.

you may have seen on my instagram feed last week that i was visited by local floral designer kiana Underwood from tulipina, along with san francisco photographer angie cao. tulipina hand-picked some of the spring season’s freshest florals and created these gorgeous natural-looking arrangements based on a few of my favorites, as well as a few surprises. kiana understood me perfectly and i was so excited when she showed up with these carts of really creative arrangements. then, angie went to work, photographing them in my dining room — and the results are just so lovely.

tulipina designs floral arrangements for events and weddings and can create custom bouquets like these based on your favorite flowers. i wanted to know just what she had picked out and what all these beautiful florals were called, so we did a little guide to spring florals for you, too. there’s some unexpected gems in here – from dates and fresh lemons, to dogwood and clematis, some of my new favorites. for more from tulipina, be sure to follow along on her blog, naked bouquet and visit angie cao’s website and facebook page for more of her photographic inspiration. almost as great as these photos? the spoils — nothing better than these kinds of pretty photo shoot leftovers. thank you, ladies!
