THE JEALOUS CURATOR: ART GOES HERE.

oh, poor victoria! gallstones. not cool. well, in honor of her bedrest this week i have, of course, chosen a dreamy bedroom – made of “stone”:

too soon? sorry victoria, i had to do it! and if that weren’t enough, i’m even going to suggest doing this:

yes! old rocks do rock – when they’re from a vintage science & nature book. i would totally frame n’ hang three gorgeous pages on that little white wall! gems, rocks, stones – whatever you want to call ‘em – these vintage illustrations are stunning. and free. download them right over here, at vintage printable.

now, when you’re stuck in bed, it’s so nice to have a view, right?

is this weird? maybe. i was looking for a landscape to hang on the wall (to compliment the gorgeous, leafy view just on the other side of those french doors), and i found this dress. it’s from anthropologie, and i really want to buy it, put it on a tailoring form, and display it in the corner like a sculptural landscape. weird, yes – but pretty awesome too!

and finally, i’m always a fan of this trick:

great big vintage sign letters are always such a cool, artsy touch to a room. you really can’t go wrong – especially if you can find a neon yellow “v” for victoria! here’s to a speedy recovery, victoria – i’m so happy that you’re stone-free and on the mend! we all hope you feel better soon xo ~ danielle (aka the jealous curator)

(sign letters can be found here, here, and here).
