Ich bin ein Berliner.

this bright and lovely home in Berlin is the renovation work of the German architectural firm Karhard studio. what was once two apartments were merged into one big beautiful loft-like space. it’s mostly spare and white, but then there’s bold pops of orange and pale blue — a color combination i happen to love, contrasted with exposed plywood plaster walls used as a room dividers. and then to top it all off, the designers added beautiful white-washed wood floors with a bright orange dhurrie rug and classic furniture pieces like eames and panton chairs for a bright, modern and yet very cozy space.
