i could live here : a villa in the hamptons.
hello sfgirlbybay readers! are you ready for a new “i could live here” house tour? today, we’re visiting the former summer abode of truman capote in the hamptons.
if the walls of this home could speak, they would have an incredible story to tell. the former hamptons abode of truman capote, author of “breakfast at tiffany’s”, was partially destroyed by a fire and rebuilt almost from the ground by new owner and american artist ross bleckner. bleckner chose an all-white interior that sets off the wooden furniture and reorganized the floor plan with interconnected rooms that open to the garden. he has also installed his adjacent studio, a large open space with a neutral background for his paintings.
