one to love.
i discovered one o when they very kindly commented on a blog post last week. i hopped on over to their site to check out their textiles, and just had to share — i love the very retro-inspired patterns printed on tea towels, coasters, pillows and more. One O was born as an experiment for designers Chiara and Irene to dedicate themselves body and soul to this gorgeous textile design project. The two are graphic designers working in the beautiful city of Turin, in North-Western Italy — also the place they draw their inspiration from: fascinating architecture that surround their everyday life. one o also makes conscious choices about materials and inks; sustainable fair trade productions from the best Indian textile tradition; getting their hands (and dresses!) dirty to perfectly silkscreen patterns; and Italian pride of sewing excellent crafted details. Bellissimo!
