tuesday’s girl: jenny bird.

i’ve just discovered Canadian designer Jenny Bird. recently named one of toronto’s most stylish, Jenny Bird launched her namesake line in 2008 in response to a calling too poignant to ignore: the mass market had a gaping void, lacking fashion-forward accessories that were beautifully designed, well constructed, but also accessibly priced — She couldn’t help but create. With deep roots in the Canadian countryside and garment construction in her blood, the self-taught Jenny builds her inspired, soulful pieces with an exceptional attention to detail and quality, resulting in beautiful, lasting jewelry and handbags with style and substance, perfect for accessorizing an evening outfit out in the city, or dressing up daytime jeans and boots.

Sourcing inspiration and creative collaboration from around the globe, Jenny Bird’s collections somehow work for every sort of woman. A true global citizen, Jenny also uses her creativity to give back, working with philanthropic partners including WWF and the Pollinator Partnership to contribute to causes she has heart for — her ongoing mission is to connect with people across the planet through creative work, believing it her way of sharing love with the world. Jenny Bird is just lovely, all around.

• this post in creative partnership with Jenny Bird, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. san francisco photos via locked cog and darling, be darling.
