kinfolk: natural home & holiday decor.

Kinfolk is one of my favorite magazines, filled with beautifully curated photography and stories of community. But did you know Kinfolk also hosts a variety of events? Kinfolk’s December event is inspired by the “earth’s widespread palette of color and texture… a tried-and-true source for creating unique decor not merely for the holiday season, but for year-round enjoyment”.
If you’re in San Francisco this weekend, there are still a few spots for the Kinfolk event this Sunday, December 15th, with Hannah Ferrara and Studio Choo, at Studio Choo’s gorgeous space. At this workshop you’ll get the opportunity to play with a variety of natural materials to make something special for your home for the winter season.

Join these talented ladies for an afternoon workshop + gathering where you will learn how to make some of Studio Choo’s signature natural decorations, like branch garlands, wreaths and swags to decorate your home for the holidays. Followed by a simple meal, warm drinks, and an afternoon of merriment. Plus, guests will go home with the fresh wreaths and decor they’ve created and a basket full of goodies from a few favorite local companies!
Current San Francisco contributors and partners for the event include West Elm, Studio Choo, Another Feather, Erin Kunkel, Sight glass, Bitters + Bottles, Craftsmen & Wolves, P.F. Candle Co., Magpie & Rye, A Well Traveled Brand, The Mill , Josey Baker Bread and counting!

So beautiful! I’m looking forward to making a wreath, but I doubt it will look as good as these :)
The wreath above is just gorgeous. Any chance these workshops would be taught in the Seattle Area? I would be there in an instant ;)

I’m really hoping to get to a Kinfolk event when I move to London, they look so dreamy and crafty and full of inspiring people and ideas!
