living in an industrial world.

this clever cottage is the handy work of melbourne creative couple, tom adair and nikki williams. their charming home appears in the latest issue of est magazine and it’s most inspiring. a former workman’s cottage in an industrial neighborhood it stands out as a bright light now that the couple have put their heart and soul into it, tearing down bedrooms to make more space, and pouring concrete to make their own countertops. i love this stylish space with it’s vintage modern vibe — it’s got a great bit of whimsy to it and looks like a really happy place to call home. this whole issue of est magazine is filled with inspiration and some great home tours, so i’d start subscribing (for free) if you haven’t already.

Love how spacious and light this place is. White with splashes of colour here and there is my favourite style these days.
I’m salivating over that kitchen!
Love your blog.I’m thinking about making a post on mine to show it. Hope you don’t mind!
oh not at all – of course! thank you so much. :)
I am always amazed at the beauty of industrial pieces, especially when mixed in a personal way. Lovely.
Dream home!
