this is the lovely light-filled studio space of jewelry designer leah alexandra photographed by janis nicolay for the March 2014 issue of Style at Home magazine. Leah invited me to share some images from the tour and i was most happy to share her studio space with you. a jewelry designer living in Vancouver, British colombia with her husband Kris, a music composer for film and television, leah and her husband were given the opportunity to buy the great space they had been renting and have since made it our own, including incorporating a great studio workspace for leah to run her jewelry business, leah alexandra.

Leah’s jewelry is fresh and versatile using materials like Sterling Silver, 14 Karat Gold Fill, 24 Karat Gold Vermeil, and carefully hand-selected gemstones and freshwater pearls inspired by A life living near water, having spent many summers on the shores of Cape Cod. Now all her jewelry is handmade in Vancouver, just a short stroll from the beach. for the whole tour of leah alexandra’s home check out this month’s issue of style at home, and visit her website for more on her jewelry collections.
