the good behind glassybaby.

One of my new go-to places for gifts is glassybaby. Featuring simple but perfect-for-any-occasion vibrant glasses in every color under the rainbow, glassybaby was founded by a three time cancer survivor who found hope and healing in the light of a lit handmade votive. In her yearning to share that light and help the many patients she met in chemotherapy waiting rooms who could not afford basic costs like groceries and bus fare, glassybaby has now donated more than $2 million from sales to charitable causes of all kinds.

A team of 70+ artists create these glassybaby items – for drinking, votive candles or anything you can imagine – from their Seattle studio, but you can view these colorful beauties in person at a glassybaby store in Seattle, Bellvue, and now San Francisco. I especially like Friendship, where a portion of every sale is donated to the San Francisco SPCA.

What a gorgeous combination you put together. Would you mind sharing the names of the ones in your photo? They are beautiful with the poppies and ranunculus!
