this is the throughly modern home of orla kiely, featured in dwell magazine. i love the Textile designer’s renovated London Terrace House — naturally, it’s decorated with her distinctive color palette and popular patterns adorning some beautiful mid-century modern pieces, like eames chairs and that swoon-worthy daybed. accent walls in her stylishly sunken living room are covered in her signature wallpaper prints. the open shelving in the kitchen displays Kiely’s own Stem dish towels and ceramic storage jars, as well as her collection of colorful dishes, knickknacks and cookbooks. check out dwell magazine for the complete interview and home tour.

Stunning. I could cry though – I used to have an orange sofa and couldn’t find a way to make it work. Seeing this gorgeous living room makes me wish I still had it!!

  7. I think Orla Kiely and Heather Moore are long lost sisters :-)
