tuesday’s girl: free people’s beach camp.

i forgot somehow that free people has a blog, and a lovely one at that. they post great home tours and style ideas — but today i stumbled upon their beach camp, and was most inspired. doesn’t this look like a heavenly idea for a party or perhaps a bridal shower? free people invited a group of inspiring ladies to gather at the beach in San Onofre, California to enjoy a pretty outdoor picnic, a bit of yoga, and some sun and surf.

the West Coast display team from free people transformed the beach into a camping paradise with everything from fresh flowers and drift wood to hand-dyed pillows and seashells. they built the driftwood teepee by stitching it together with crochet rounds and neon string, and made them cozy with a cloud of blankets and handmade pillows. i can practically smell those wildflowers and the breeze from the sea. well done, ladies! this is gorgeous! you can check out the entire posts on free people here and here.
