BRIGHT ANCIENT KAURI by haley ann, need supply.

sometimes the easiest way to spruce up the old space for summer is by just adding a dash of color. this photo (below) made me think of a taking a dive into the deep end — created by just hanging one big swipe of colorful artwork. bring some plants inside, and put your prettiest summer robe on display. perhaps you bring the outdoor patio chairs inside around the dining room table for a change. toss a few colorful pillows on the bed, or paint some old furniture with a bright coat of fresh paint. hunt down a bold vintage chair or an old bar cart at your local flea market or yard sale and place it in a prominent spot. simple ideas to bring on summer. ready, set, go!

  2. Lovely summer colors! I especially love the vintage chairs and the Kauri art piece! Let Summer begin!

  3. I love the idea of changing a whole color palette with well-placed decor and artwork. It can create such an impact! I love how much that strip of blue impacts the room in that second photo.
