pantone color of the year.

rose quartz colored cotton candy / sfgirlbybay

It’s that time of year again – when PANTONE, the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industries, announces their Color of the Year. They switched things up a bit this year with a momentous announcement: for the first time, the PANTONE Color Institute has selected a harmonious pairing of two complementary shades for the Color of the Year 2016: PANTONE 15-3919 Serenity blue and PANTONE 13-1520 Rose Quartz. and you know me, i’m always partial to pink, so today i’m on the hunt for some rose quartz inspiration for you. Rose Quartz evokes calm, but i also love it because its blush tone looks so good with so many other colors: black, green, and blue, plus it flatters copper quite well, which is spot on trend at the moment! for more blushing beauty, visit my pinboard.
