2. meet the Good Thing Richman Dustpan from urban outfitters. these are some pretty great looking dustpans — almost nice enough to make me want to sweep all day; 3. such a beautiful, one of a kind francisco stairstep rug from caroline z hurley — it’s hand-spun, hand dyed cotton and manufactured by a man named Francisco who lives in the hills of Guatemala — how cool is that?; 4. i’m pretty sure montreal illustrator Anabel roy made this team awkward sweat-shirt just for me.

5. wowza, i love louise gray’s queen quilt no. 2 from kaufmann mercantile. meticulously constructed by local artisans from 100 percent cotton and linen materials and is machine-washable — perfect for those with little ones and pets; 6. just adore this creative collaboration between designer erica tanov and ceramist Sarah Van Raden — an organic meeting of the minds! Each ceramic pitcher is hand-thrown in white stoneware, with a matte finish, then delicately dipped in a metallic bronze glaze.

12. this is a killer barcart — a Vintage 1950’s Mid Century Modern French Trolly Table By Mathieu Mat├ęgot For artimeta etcetera. the unique perforated and black lacquered metal shelves are screaming, take me home!

    I also love the chairs from Anthropologie. Problem is my husband (6’3″ 208#) is terrified to sit in those types of chairs and I can understand his hesitation. He is convinced they will break if he sits on one and some do look very frail. He is especially nervous when those mid century style chairs are the only option at dinner parties and skips restaurants with them if that is the only option for seating. But they are lovely to look at.
