the sun popped out for a bit this weekend, so i roamed around the neighborhood to see what i might spy. just some random mundane shots, but i do like the way the iphone shakeit app makes them look! here’s my sunday in the city.

sunday in the city.

this weekend i went for a long, leisurely walk, exploring my new neighborhood and up over the hills to the mission. it’s such a colorful and picturesque stroll, i of course could not help but snap lots of pics. here’s a glimpse at the walk from noe valley to valencia street in san francisco’s wonderful mission district. i hope you had a colorful, inspiring weekend, too!

sunday in the city [maui style].
this collection of sunday in the city is cheating quite a bit. first off, because it’s not in the city of san francisco. it’s lahaina, maui. and it’s not just sunday, but a whole week of vacation there. but what the heck, right? sundays are like mini holidays, so this is like one big holiday. thanks for the break, guys. it’s good to be back! aloha!

sunday in the city.

okay, so i’m gonna just straight out fess up, that i took these images with my new addiction, the iphone app, shakeit. my friend, photographer’s rep marianne campbell had taken these amazing images, and i asked her what kind of camera she was using. when she told me it was the shakeit, i was blown away.

i love the polaroid look and feel this app gives your photos and it’s only 99ยข! so this sunday in the city, i’m sharing some of the images i snapped with shakeit, including a fabulous wedding i went to. go, on shake it like a polaroid!
