every year, around early spring i start jonesing for my quince. not the fruit, the flowering Chaenomeles. i love these branches with the most perfect shade of coral pink you’ve ever laid your eyes on, so i go hunting for them at all my local flower shops. not many places carry them, because they’re large and kind of unruly branches and they’re dangerous!...

wild goose chase. i adore bringing a little bit of the outside inside. adding a touch of nature goes a long way to warm up a room and make it that much more inviting, don’t ya think? adding a few large branches to a vase adds texture and shape, whether they be stark naked branches (which you can pretty much find for free!), or covered in flora and fauna, they just look...
