this month’s covet garden features the inspiring home of michael, a much sought after catering chef in the toronto area and a true renaissance man. his talents seem to be endless — from his amazing styling skills around the home mixing industrial, mid-century modern and vintage finds of all kinds, to cooking, sewing and a maker of all things beautiful, including his stunning dining room table. read the whole issue of covet garden, which continues to simply focus on one home tour per issue and do it really, really well. this is another favorite issue.

i swear, i think covet garden publishes their online magazine just for me. okay, well, probably not, but it feels like it’s all about me and my aesthetic, so if you like my taste, you’re probably gonna love the current issue of covet garden. as always, each issue features just one creative person and their amazing home, their hobbies, their fashion sense etc. etc. this issue follows another victoria — this one a landscape architect from toronto’s west queen west with a very fashionable home. Her space is full of amazing elements such as steel, stone and plenty of greenery. the new issue of covet garden is online, and i quite fell for this woman’s laid-back sense of style. the story features toronto-based designer heather shaw’s mostly white rooms and the backdrop for her very vintage lifestyle. heather runs the shop pi’lo and everything in the shop she has handmade herself — from home wares to party decor. in this issue of Covet Garden Heather shares her style secrets, tips for taking care of vintage fabrics, and cool crocheted jewelery. grab a cup of tea and curl up with the August issue of Covet Garden.

i love this new home tour in the latest issue of covet garden, online magazine. it’s the charming home of artist, photographer teacher, iza, mother to olive. the mother-daughter duo have settled in toronto’s west end in a home filled with treasures from years of far flung world travels, and yet the space is clean and never cluttered. you can visit the entire home tour here, on covet garden.

oh that covet garden! it just keeps getting better and better — but truthfully, i love every issue. they do a beautiful job of photographing and documenting the interesting people they choose to feature each month. and i like so much that the focus is always just on one person, or family — you feel like you really get to know them. this issue features Nikole, from herriott grace — one of my favorite online shops which nikole runs with her father. these are some of their beautiful pieces just below on the right, and for more visit their shop.
