covet garden. so, i try to go all minimal and black and white, but then all of a sudden pink sneaks its way back into my life. a little dose of it here and there in a black and white color scheme really goes a long way in warming things up. so i’ve been looking at pink again. i see subtle splashes and great big cannonball kerplunks of pink! i think i’m more drawn...

i’ve always been attracted to the mid-century modern butterfly chair. as a kid i think my parents had them on our backyard patio (flip them over and they have the makings for a great fort). they are the perfect chair for a high-low mix like you see in this glamourous high-ceilinged living room photographed by line klein for rum magazine. i love the unexpected contrast...

Originally a textile workshop, this lovely loft space in barcelona, spain was fully renovated to enhance the high ceilings, structural beams and all that gorgeous Natural light that floods in through the tall windows. i love how they creatively divided the living space from the sleeping area with simple storage cabinets — functional but beautiful, too. when can i move...
