dear “jon” letter.

jon-ad

dear jonathan: i love your new shelter island chair. damn you. now you’ve gone and stole my heart. shoot, i hate it when you do that. it’s wicker, it’s wonderful. it is, in fact wickedly wonderful, especially with that plucky orange vintage-inspired cushion you went and added to it. thanks a whole lot. now what do i do? this chair seems like a ‘must have’.  even the accessories seem pretty great, too. and that matte stephens print would look pretty fab hanging nearby, along with that lovely bargello waves pillow tucked cutely in a corner – oh yes that would really pull it together. and then you had to go and throw in that cute little toto, to really reel us in, now didn’t you? dear jonathan, indeed! you had me at ‘hello’!

Matte at Adler!

I got some very excellent news from artist Matte Stephens today! Some of his original paintings are gracing the walls of the Jonathan Adler Soho showroom now, and soon will be in all of the other showrooms. That’s such a perfect fit for Matte and I couldn’t be more happy for him! Here’s a peek at some of the Matte Stephens originals currently in Jonathan Adler’s New York showroom, and you can find more of Matte’s wonderful work in his etsy shop.

Just in Time For Hanukkah.

Jonathan Adler has this fantastic line of handstiched needlepoint yarmulkes. Brilliant.

You’ve never looked so good at Temple.
