i happen to be of the opinion that the bentwood, or thonet chair is one of the more romantic chairs around. i mean, look at those gentle curves, the care that went into each one to get them just right. i can also easily visualize these curvy chairs in cafés all over paris, and even in an old time saloon — some handsome gunslingers seated at them playing a wicked game...
