whoa. that’s all i have to say about the latest issue of est magazine. issue no. 4 of est just knocked my socks off. if i could pin it i would pin almost every single page. if you’re a scandinavian design lover-freak like me, you gotta go look at est — like right now. and subscribe — it’s free! est is just amazing. i’m still processing all the goodness, but had to post about it right this minute.

oh, and on a side note: this Safari Chair by Kaare Klint they featured. i need it — along with a few of these other very lovely items. thanks est — more to add to my very long existing wish list!

Llamas’ valley, or Lamų slėnis is an e-magazine about “perfect places and imperfect people. It’s about inspiration, creativity, joy, cosiness, delicious life…”. it’s full of Lithuanian design, photography and inspiration featuring creative studio spaces and homes of creative folk, and this issue includes a wonderful Q & A with one of my favorite bloggers, Emma Fexeus of emma’s design blogg.

the new issue of online magazine covet garden features the home of the family behind bookhou at home – a favorite etsy shop of mine. their home, the shop and their designs — all of it wow me. so beautiful in its simplicity and vintage-inspired style. here’s a look, but hop on over to covet garden to see the whole wonderful home tour. and be sure to check out the bookhou at home etsy shop, too for a look at their stylish fashion and decor accessories — i’m just in love with their textiles!

my friend lisa coris, a jewelry designer and artist, has a beautiful home tour of her san francisco apartment in the new online magazine, modern ink. i’ve featured lisa’s fab art-filled, mid-century modern influenced apartment here, but since she’s always on the hunt for great vintage treasures, it’s fun to see an update. check out the whole tour and lisa’s tips for vintage thrifting finds, too! modern ink’s a great new design magazine!

i was most honored and flattered to be ask to contribute to the fabulous emily henderson’s secrets from a stylist holiday guide. emily is awesome, so to be invited to photograph a holiday decor theme for the magazine was over the moon exciting! i put together a sparkling vintage-inspired mantel, and shared some tips on how and where to get the look. check out the entire guide for some excellent gift guides, downloadable diy ideas, and holiday decorating tips from other bloggers, and emily herself – simply click below!

this month’s issue of lonny has a very inspiring story of paul caddell’s life-changing move from memphis to manhattan, and how he went from health-care administrator to opening his very own design shop abingdon 12. his vintage-inspired west village town home is right up my ally, too — here’s a sneak peek at both his home, and abingdon 12.

the much anticipated third issue of Est Magazine is online now. Est is the brain child of Sian MacPherson Editor in Chief & Lynda Evans Creative Director, who have sourced the creative talents of photographers, designers, stylists, writers and trend spotters from around the world to create a magazine with a global style, all wrapped up with inspirational homes from Los angeles to the Hampton’s to the studios of Scandinavia. This issue of Est is Inspired by the streets of Paris, and Dutch interior stylist extraordinaire Anouk B shows you how to work a black and white color scheme. Just my thing!

i’m swooning over the latest issue of covet garden. go check out the amazing art-filled live-work space of gallerist Olga. The best thing about her beautiful brick loft-style home is that her living quarters are infused with her eclectic personality and passions — from her personal collection of contemporary art to her collections of antique objects. And there’s some great entertaining tips and recipes, too – you can also find them on the covet garden blog.
