I was so inspired by the photographs I saw on flickr belonging to Grace of the wonderful blog Poetic Home, that I invited her to join us for an Unexpected Guests house tour. Alas, Grace is in the middle of a big move  – island hopping all the way to Maui, so a tour is a wee bit inconvenient at this time. But perhaps we’ll visit her in Hawaii soon! This idea I found particularly touching and inspiring – the wedding anniversary gift from Grace’s husband that keeps on giving….a ‘catalog of love‘ – all their chapters together (thus far!) cherished in a vintage recipe box. Grace hopes that when they are old, they will have filled the box with cards of life’s memories and milestones together.
