okay there’s nothing much i get more freaked out about than being on camera, but etsy storque was nice enough to invite me, so i couldn’t refuse their lovely offer to feature me on their video series “there’s no place like here”. if you’d like to take a look around my apartment and hear me chat about it, pop on over to etsy and watch the video. and, just for commenting, we’re giving away one of my new “please let me be the person my dog thinks i am” prints. thanks so much to eric at etsy, for a fun day of shooting! enjoy!

Sfgirlbybay in DIY!

Many, many thanks to the editors at DIY Magazine for featuring my apartment in their Summer 2009 issue. And thanks again to photographer James Carrière and art director/stylist Pat Printy for making my apartment look so lovely, and writer Sandra Soria for such a fun interview! To see a bunch more photos of my place, you can find DIY Magazine at your local book store, supermarket, or neighborhood magazine shop, or subscribe to DIY here.

Guest Curator @ The Beholder.

“Wisteria”, by Lisa Solomon.

I was quite honored and extremely humbled to be invited by Suzanne Shade of The Beholder online art gallery to be their Guest Curator this month. If you’d like to see the set I put together you can hop on over to The Beholder and take a gander. I selected some of my favorite photographic images, illustrations and paintings all representing the theme of ‘Calm in a Blog Storm’ – beautiful images that relax and inspire me.

Etsy’s Storque Spotlight.

Many, many thanks to Christine of I Heart Mustaches for featuring my apartment, and how to get my look on Etsy’s Storque Spotlight! Christine has done a lovely job of featuring some wonderful Etsy Finds to find out how you can add a little bohemian modern mix to your own home decor. Thanks again Christine!
