the kind folks over at the bold italic were very nice to invite me to join their found locals. i’m a big fan of their pithy little profiles of san francisco locals, so i was quite excited to be included to join them. if you’d like to read about some of my favorite places to hang out in the city, and read about some San Franciscans who love this place as much as i do, pop on over. if your going to san francisco anytime soon, this is an awesome way to discover the locals’ favorite spots!

okay there’s nothing much i get more freaked out about than being on camera, but etsy storque was nice enough to invite me, so i couldn’t refuse their lovely offer to feature me on their video series “there’s no place like here”. if you’d like to take a look around my apartment and hear me chat about it, pop on over to etsy and watch the video. and, just for commenting, we’re giving away one of my new “please let me be the person my dog thinks i am” prints. thanks so much to eric at etsy, for a fun day of shooting! enjoy!

every once in a while, i get lucky enough to be included in some magazines and online publications. this past month i was very excited to be included in loftlife magazine’s round up of ‘the lovely ladies of cyberspace‘.

Today, it’s me and Maxwell live from San Francisco! The View From The Bay, a local ABC TV show will be taping here in my apartment today, with Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan as the guest of honor, speaking about his book Apartment Therapy Presents Real Homes, Real People, Hundreds of Real Design Solutions. I appeared, or rather my apartment and I appeared, in the book, so Maxwell’s going to take a mini home tour of my place, and chat with the folks from View From The Bay while I go hide in another room! I may make an appearance, but am a bit camera shy, so we’ll see! But, I’m excited and honored to have Maxwell here showing off my place. I believe it airs live on their website at 3pm PST today, so tune in (or click below to watch the video), and see if I get over my stage fright!

It’s out! The new Apartment Therapy book from Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan is, at long last, out in bookstores and available online. Apartment Therapy presents real homes, real people, hundreds of real design solutions is the new book, and I made page 250! I’ve never been in a book before, and this is pretty fun, I gotta say! Published! My place doesn’t look a thing like this anymore, but I don’t care, it’s a nice layout and I’m thrilled to be a part of this book. It is a fantastic book! Spreads from over forty of AT’s best Home Tours, and there are some amazing inspirational places in here. I was really impressed with the book design, the beautiful photography and the amazing and diverse homes featured, and even if I weren’t a part of it, I would highly recommend it as a wonderful resource for interior design ideas. Here’s a peek at my spreads, and a few of the other homes that I really loved from the book.
