blissful inspiration

hello all!  i just returned from a weekend at the beach and i am more than inspired.  i can’t exactly explain the feelings or emotions the mighty pacific conjures in me…the best i can do is describe it as a giant mind eraser.  when i sit by the ocean, watch the waves, breath in the air and take in the sounds all is right in my life, problems seem insignificant.  which is why i chose these particular photographs today:

i love that i can almost get the same peace from a photograph.  there is something said for feeling small.  xo mrs. french

  1. I too love the ocean and am so grateful I live close enough (within 35 minutes)to pop over to sit on the beach when I need to get those cobwebs dusted out of my mind. Nothing better than the gentle sea breeze, the rythmic sound of the crashing waves and sand under the feet. The California coast is my most fave.

  2. There really is nothing to beat the inner tranquility you get from walking on the beach, listening to waves crashing at your feet (at least for me!). This has inspired me to take my camera for a walk along the shore tomorrow :)

  3. This is probably my favorite “blissful inspiration” post. I grew up on the beach and to this day, crashing waves make my heart soar.

These images are beyond description. Thank you so much for sharing.
