grant k. gibson keeps things calm.
by victoria comment

well, not all that calm. when grant k. gibson interior design was commissioned to create a teenage girl’s bedroom for the elle decor showcase house, he went mad for hot pink! and when grant placed an order from my etsy shop for a pink keep calm and carry on print for the adjoining bathroom, he had me over the moon with excitement (not the least bit calm, at all!).

it’s wonderful to have one of my prints grace the walls of a grant k. gibson interior design masterpiece, and in an elle decor showcase house, no less, so i couldn’t be more thrilled. for a peek behind the scenes of grant’s work on the showcase house, pop into his blog, and for more of his beautiful design work, visit his portfolio.

and if you’re in the bay area, elle decor welcomes the public to view the showcase house every weekend from November 6th to 21st. you can purchase tickets through the junior league of san francisco. i highly recommend it — there’s nothing quite as inspiring as visiting the interiors of some of san francisco’s oldest homes.

one of grant’s initial sketch ideas for the room.

  1. Oh, I love this!! It’s simply gorgeous and such vibrant and happy colors. I’m far far from being a teenager…but that’s a bathroom that I’d love to have, from the cool light fixture to your rockin’ print, Victoria! :)

  2. Thank you so much sfgirlbythebay for your fabulous posing on this space.
As you might be able to tell from the photos- I had just a BALL designing the space and doing something a little bit different from my normal.

Thank you everyone for your sweet comments!
