european chic: mid-century modern.
by my illustrious guest blogger comment

Salut, It’s Anna again from European Chic in Paris! Today I want to share mid-cenury design from Europe with you. First, a happy colour duplex flat in Paris’ wealthy 16th arrondissement (which is better known for a Haussmannien bourgeois style).

I love the original features in the flat such as the wooden staircase and the built-in libary. Oh, and the turquoise wall in the living room. (Photos: Cote Maison).

Let’s turn to Italy now and look at a wicked mid-century architect studio in Tuscany by famous Tuscan architect Leonardo Ricci (1918-1994).

Isn’t the floor just to die for? I am in love with the original front door and windows. So cool. These days the studio is used by architect firm Eutropia. (Photos: AT casa Italia).

I deliberately excluded mid-century design from Scandinavia this time around but next month I shall share mid-century design from up north. Looking forward to seeing you again!

With Love from Paris, European Chic
