  1. This is the first time I’ve commented on any of your posts, but I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy this series. I especially love that Mary Tyler Moore’s earring is represented in the lighting fixture in the decor picture. Spot on!

  3. You had me at “I dream of Jeannie” then you added “Get Smart” and I was sold, by the time I got down to “Gilligan’s Island” it was pure love.

  4. I love this new post! Please keep finding them.
I so loved all of these actresses/models back in the day. In the early 60’s, Twiggy was my favorite. I painted those lower eyelashes under my eyes just like she had. Next, my favorite became Marlo Thomas as That Girl! I pictured myself as her. Since my mom sewed my clothes, we found Marlo Thomas patterns that McCall’s featured and I copied her look. In later years when I worked at newspaper, I thought of myself as Mary Tyler Moore. And who didn’t watch Get Smart and The Avengers? These were all wonderful, strong women with a style all their own. Thanks for sharing.

  5. I just found this via Prudent Baby’s site and had to tell you how wonderful this post was! It is as if they designed the rooms around your pictures! They really do match the pictures you choose, amazing, and I love them all.

  6. Yes, I just start blogging and suddenly realized how much time all these posts really take. Your work certainly doesn’t go unappreciated though. Oh and you met Debbie Reynolds and was in girl scouts with Carrie?! What an awesome fun fact! Singing in the Rain is one of my favorite movies and I’m absolutely in love with Tammy!
