cherry pie by matt henry.

what’s black and white and red all over? nah, not the newspaper – it’s this post! haha…cold medicine makes victoria think she’s funny…poor, dear readers. anyway, i digress! i saw this cherry pie print at the mammoth collection and loved it so much, it spurned on an idea for a big juicy, red roundup this fab friday! red is just such a happy, snappy color, don’t ya think?

red paper straws make drinks most festive, from shop at moxie; one sweet little tea towel from pony and poppy; and some fun charlie harper flash cards from anthropologie.

how wonderful life is… in the words of elton john, from music philosophy; some simply amazing CLAIRE McCARDELL 1950’s Gingham Gloves, at 1st Dibs; pretend you’re abroad and mail someone a letter using this French Stripe Tape from wonderland room; my lucky number seven from fresh eggs antiques; and this Room Seven Red Gingham Classic School Bag – it’s not just for kids, right?

everyone requires a toadstool lamp just for fun, from emily chalmer’s caravan.

and we should probably all have a mushroom pouf as well, via anthropologie; i’d love to have a copy of MARGARET KILGALLEN’s IN THE SWEET BYE AND BYE, available at park life; let’s look cute sitting on our wacky furniture and wear a strawberry-rhubarb apron from anthropologie; tell time on conrans shop’s mod red metro clock; dress up the kitchen with pottery barn’s red tolix chairs; and i think owning a shiny bright red holga, via the click shop is a very good plan, too.
