i spy: tiptoeing through the tulips.
by victoria comment

today, i’ll be tiptoeing through the tulips. but not the kind tiny tim had in mind. oh no, i’m tiptoeing around pretty tulip tables, and chairs. the kind Eero saarinen designed for knoll way back in 1956. i have a bit of addiction for tulip-shaped home furnishings, from the four tulip based tables i own, to my desk chair, and my set of four swiveling tulip based dining chairs. i especially love mixing them up with various other chairs and tables for a truly eclectic little look! yep, i spy tulips!

from the design*sponge at home book, as seen on ohjoy!; tulip side table via plastolux; eclectic mix via marcus hay; saarinen table with eames plywood chair via john janik interiors; tulip chairs look great around a wood farm table via apartment therapy; love the all-white look via catherine gratwicke photography; and then the tulip chairs mixed up around an antique table via XXX; anna’s tulip side table via doorsixteen.

great office by cristina rodriguez interior design via french by design; black & white from jutun paint, via emma’s design blog; wonderful mix of rattan chairs with saarinen table via french by design; the new covet garden has two great tulip looks — a dining room and an office; elle decor’s dining banquette looks lovely; ghost chairs even look great around a saarinen tulip table, via living etc.; and i love the gray upholstery on this tulip chair from carrier and company design.
