if you were a room, what color do you think you would be? would you be pale and subdued shades of pink, or a soft gray? or might be you bold and dynamic, say a kelly green or hot pink colored wall? maybe a bit more modern, say charcoal gray, like i painted a while back? the folks at glidden paint invited me to share with you their fun new feature, colortopia. call it a personality test for your walls. MyColortopia is a site where people who are easily overwhelmed by interior design decisions and painting can get guidance, advice and inspiration. it can be hard to make that final color choice, and the quiz will enable you to select colors, buy paint, get the paint on the walls and be really proud, and thrilled with the results.

have fun with it, and take the quick MyColortopia quiz right here — it’s designed to help you discover colors that suit your personality and lifestyle. and, i’d absolutely love to hear what color you turned out to be.

  1. Sigh. Ever since I saw the Cameroon Juju hat that Jordan Ferney has on her wall, I’ve wanted one. The green room is one of those that I love to see photos of, but wouldn’t want it for myself.

  2. before the quiz I would have said mustard green but after the quiz it was actually called safari green. much better description & I just might use that exact color when I paint my new living room :)

  3. I’ve never really liked pink when I was growing up, so I find it kind of funny that I’ve been gravitating toward it the last couple of years. Peony pink is my color.
    Happy holidays!

  4. omg these are yummy colors.. Thanks for the Glidden tool. I need this tool for my digital images! (A program that edits photo’s like this is a color spectrum would be great!) And it’s probably available I just don’t have my hands on it!
